This is a little info about what we do for the Capitola Little Guards.

The Inspiration

In August of 2003, our president, Dustin Bentley came across the great idea of helping kids to remember who swam with them the previous year instead of having to ask the question "Are you the one who swam with me?"

During the past year, Dustin Bentley created Bentley Services International to be a company which he could control, instead of doing the job by himself.

What we do for the Little Guards

Each Little Guard is provided with a buddy as a assistant on their swim. This assistant's name is placed on a certificate along with your child's name. This certificate states that each child has completed the swim. It will be given to the child at Jade Street that evening, free of charge.

At the completion of the swim, each child will run up onto the beach with their buddy. A picture will be taken as they pass through the finish line. A Popsicle stick will be handed to each child after the photo is taken with a number on it. This number will be written down next to their name. This number is associated with both their name and picture. Due to costs imposed on us, we are providing the pictures at a cost of only $0.50. We hope that this will not be an inconvenience to anyone.

Once you get to Jade Street, a table will be set up. This table will have both pictures and certificates available. You can pick up your copies at this time. Additional copies or enlargements can be ordered online.
